{"id":7087,"date":"2012-03-14T12:59:31","date_gmt":"2012-03-14T19:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.crookedbough.com\/?p=7087"},"modified":"2012-03-14T12:59:31","modified_gmt":"2012-03-14T19:59:31","slug":"bahrain-nursing-association-saudi-invaders-must-leave","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.crookedbough.com\/?p=7087","title":{"rendered":"Bahrain Nursing Association: Saudi Invaders must leave!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bahrain Nursing Association demands end to Saudi invasion<\/strong><br \/>\n14 March, 2012 &#8211; Shia Post<\/p>\n<p>Bahrain\u2019s Nursing Association has begun a week of resistance against the Saudi invasion of the country on the first anniversary of the arrival of KSA troops to help Manama in its brutal crackdown on protests.<\/p>\n<p>Secretary of the Association of Nursing Ebrahim al-Dimstani told Al Alam television on Wednesday that activities planned for \u201dResistance week against Saudi invasion\u201d include holding nationwide protest rallies and expressing solidarity with the victims of the Saudi-backed regime crackdown.<\/p>\n<p>According to al-Dimstani, the anti-Saudi invasion week began on Monday, two days ahead of the first anniversary of the Saudi invasion.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Bahrain\u2019s 14 February Coalition has called for large anti-government demonstrations to be held on March 15 to protest against Saudi Arabia\u2019s military intervention in Bahrain.<\/p>\n<p>On March 14, 2011, Saudi troops entered Bahrain to assist the Manama government in its quelling peaceful popular protests in the Persian Gulf Island.<\/p>\n<p>Bahrainis have been holding anti-government demonstrations since mid-February 2011, calling on the US-backed Al Khalifa family to leave power.<\/p>\n<p>According to local sources, scores of people have been killed and hundreds have been arrested in the Saudi-backed regime crackdown. <a href=\"http:\/\/en.shiapost.com\/?p=826\" target=\"_blank\"> ..source<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"igit_tsb_button\" style=\"float: left; margin-right: 10px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/share?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.crookedbough.com%2F%3Fp%3D7087&amp;text=Bahrain+Nursing+Association%3A+Saudi+Invaders+must+leave%21&amp;count=horizontal&amp;via=\" style=\"\" class=\"twitter-share-button\">Tweet<\/a><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bahrain Nursing Association demands end to Saudi invasion 14 March, 2012 &#8211; Shia Post Bahrain\u2019s Nursing Association has begun a week of resistance against the Saudi invasion of the country on the first anniversary of the arrival of KSA troops to help Manama in its brutal crackdown on protests.
