\nthe denials hidden like dust bunnies,
\nbeneath the polished floors of our daily routine.<\/p>\n
Behind the lips, our teeth shine:
\nsincerity reflects from the well-ground lens
\nwith which children torture other children
\nupon the concrete sidewalks of our lovely neighborhoods.<\/p>\n
Shine this light upon the route of our escape:
\nthe dead ends and wrong turns illuminate,
\nthe choices seen piled up like fatal accidents,
\nupon the well-paved thoroughfares of our rapid transience.<\/p>\n
Escape this petty, bourgeois lifestyle:
\nthe accumulated fashion and furniture,
\nthe comforts work like an anesthetic
\nupon the central nervous system or our fiscal responsibility.<\/p>\n
Leave now, before the Villagers torch the house:
\nfrustration progresses into outright rebellion
\nwith which monsters overthrow monsters
\nupon the revisionist screen of our collective memory.<\/p>\n
Torch this house and all its shining artifacts:
\nreject the security brightly proffered;
\ndeny the acquiescence so easily adopted
\npiled-up behind the revolving doors of our corporate egos.<\/p>\n
