While on the south end of the lake three weeks ago I saw the <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_1\" class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\">Juvenile<\/span> Pelican. This week on the North end of the lake I saw two adult Pelicans. I approached them and they were <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\" class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">un<\/span>bothered at 30 yards. I also saw my first flock of Snow Geese for the year and group of seven Turkey Vultures hanging out on the shore. The Grebe&#8217;s were out in full force feasting on the concentrated fish due to the low lake levels.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nI used the GPS (<span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\" class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">Garmin<\/span> <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\" class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">E-Trex<\/span> Vista) for the first time on the lake. Top speed was 5.4 mph. <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_5\" class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\">Overall<\/span> Distance was 5.8 miles. Average speed was 2.3 mph. I like the GPS so much I will now add a mount to the Kayak.<\/p>\n<p>I <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_6\" class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\">definitely<\/span> need to get it together on the pictures.
