Hear me:
\nYou, the elder,
\nthe “good man”, who “safeguards justice”
\n(so you have always declared),<\/p>\n

if I were to make excuses for you,
\nI, for you,
\nfor the things you have done,
\nI would only look the fool,
\nfor you would continue in your ways,
\nand murder us as “traitors”.<\/p>\n

Hear me:
\nHear us all, for we all demand likewise –
\nboth sects, all Bahrainis:<\/p>\n

You must go.
\nTake His Majesty with you,
\nand leave your deeds behind.<\/p>\n

You, oppressor,
\nfrom where do you derive your power,
\nthe power to keep your people down? –
\nall your people,
\neven women
\neven children
\neven men.
\nYet you call for “dialogue”,
\neven in the midst of your brutality?<\/p>\n

No! … No! …
\nOne word: No!
\nOne demand:
\nGive us back our Bahrain.
\nReturn this country to its people;
\nto us, its people.<\/p>\n
