But the courts do not take any measures in such cases. A number of detainees accused in the claimed \u201cRiffa bombing\u201d have boycotted Sunday\u2019s hearing session (15th September) because they do not trust the judiciary, the detainees\u2019 lawyers said.<\/p>\n<p>The defense lawyers said the detainees have been repeatedly subjected to torture while the courts have failed to take necessary measures.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Wefaq had demanded that an independent and impartial commission be formed to investigate incidents claimed to have happened by the security apparatuses, such as the Riffa bombing.
