Bahraini protesters demand release of prisoners

Bahraini anti-regime protesters have held demonstrations in the northeastern island of Sitra and the western village of Karzakan to demand the release of prisoners.<\/p>\n
The demonstrators on Sunday also called for the downfall of the Al Khalifa regime.<\/p>\n
In Sitra, the Saudi-backed regime forces used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the protesters.<\/p>\n
Similar demonstrations were also held in Manama on Sunday.<\/p>\n
