\nInternational loan sharks backed by the guns
\nOf market hungry military profiteers
\nWhose word is a swamp and whose brow is smeared
\nWith the blood of the poor<\/p>\n

Who rob life of its quality
\nWho render rage a necessity
\nBy turning countries into labour camps
\nModern slavers in drag as champions of freedom<\/p>\n

Sinister cynical instrument
\nWho makes the gun into a sacrament —
\nThe only response to the deification
\nOf tyranny by so-called “developed” nations’
\nIdolatry of ideology<\/p>\n

North South East West
\nKill the best and buy the rest
\nIt’s just spend a buck to make a buck
\nYou don’t really give a flying fuck
\nAbout the people in misery<\/p>\n

IMF dirty MF
\nTakes away everything it can get
\nAlways making certain that there’s one thing left
\nKeep them on the hook with insupportable debt<\/p>\n

See the paid-off local bottom feeders
\nPassing themselves off as leaders
\nKiss the ladies shake hands with the fellows
\nOpen for business like a cheap bordello<\/p>\n

And they call it democracy<\/p>\n

See the loaded eyes of the children too
\nTrying to make the best of it the way kids do
\nOne day you’re going to rise from your habitual feast
\nTo find yourself staring down the throat of the beast
\nThey call the revolution<\/p>\n
