An old man holding his walking stick in one hand,
\nand a bread he just bought for his family on the other.
\nlifting one foot slowly after the other in pain,
\nPolice start shooting teargas .. both of his hands occupied,
\nHe can\u2019t throw his walking stick because he needs to walk,
\nHe can\u2019t throw his bread because he needs to feed his family,
\nHe collapse in the middle of the street, suffocating!

A Normal Day in Sitra (2)<\/strong><\/p>\n

A mother calling her son;
\nMom : \u201cSon, where are you? Did you pick the medicine for your sister from the pharmacy?\u201d
\nSon : \u201cYes Mom, I picked up the medicine , I am a block away .. don\u2019t worry I am almost there.\u201d<\/p>\n

30 minutes later.<\/p>\n

Mom calls again and an auto answer on the phone.
\n\u201cTHE NUMBER YOU ARE CALLING CANNOT BE REACHED AT THE MOMENT\u201d<\/p>\n

3 days later,<\/p>\n

Mother receives a call from an unknown number,
\n\u201cYOUR TRAITOR SON IS IN PRISON FOR PROTESTING\u201d
\nMom :\u201dWhere is my son!! I didn\u2019t hear from him in 3 days!!\u201d
\nVoice: \u201cHe is in the prison hospital.\u201d
\nMom: \u201cWHY??? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM??\u201d<\/p>\n

A woman with her kids in the car visiting her family in Sitra,
\nAn alien with a police uniform and his gun pointing at car nodding at her,<\/p>\n

Woman : \u201cPlease, don\u2019t scare my kids, I am here to visit my family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Policeman: \u2026\u2026..<\/p>\n

He doesn\u2019t understand Arabic nor English.<\/p>\n

A normal day in Sitra ! (4)<\/strong><\/p>\n

5 teenage kids playing outside their house,
\nA Turkish-Made Police Tanks storming from one side of an alley,
\nPolice jeeps rush from the other side,
\nPolicemen rush out with their guns!
\nNext day a headline in a local newspaper;<\/p>\n

\u201c5 people were arrested for illegal gathering!\u201d<\/p>\n

A normal day in Sitra ! (5)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grandmother: \u201cIt\u2019s almost 12:00 PM, where are you going in his heat?\u201d<\/p>\n

Grandfather : \u201cI am taking our grandson to pray in the historic mosque of Shaikh Aabid, I\u2019ll come back after 2 hours\u201d<\/p>\n

10 minutes later,<\/p>\n

Grandmother: \u201cOh! that was quick?! and why the sad look in your face??\u201d<\/p>\n

Grandfather : \u201cThe government demolished the entire mosque!!! it vanished!\u201d<\/p>\n

Grandson : \u201cGrand-dad, I promise you, I will rebuild it and you will pray in it again!\u201d<\/p>\n
